Thiago Silva has joined Paris St Germain from AC Milan on a five-year contract, the French club have announced.
The defender, 27, had been linked with a move to the club earlier this week , along with team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and has now completed the transfer.
PSG said in a short statement on its site: "The Brazilian international Thiago Silva is joining Paris St Germain for five years."
AC Milan's president Silvio Berlusconi said earlier this week that the club had sold both players to PSG - now managed by former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti.
But Imbrahimovic's move is still not complete, according to his agent, who said earlier this week that it is still a long way from being done .
