I want my Neym in gold

NEYMAR will only be satisfied with Brazil’s London 2012 campaign if he emerges with a gold medal around his neck.

The Santos wonderkid, 20, is part of the 18-man squad the five-time World Cup winners are bringing to the UK for the Olympic Games.
And the talented striker, who has been linked with a host of elite clubs across Europe, believes Brazil have what it takes to clinch Games glory this summer.
Neymar said: “We’ve got everything we need to be champions.
“Brazil are always one of the favourites, no matter what the competition. It’s always been that way.
“We’ve got a very good side and players with a lot of potential.”

Neymar has shot to fame over the last few years thanks to his sublime skills and goalscoring ability.
He is well known in Europe now, despite plying his trade in Brazil, and is coveted by Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.
However, the diminutive forward revealed he is likely to be left starstruck at the Games, particularly if he meets Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt and basketball star Lebron James.
He added: “I’ve already told my friends I’m going to be the biggest fan there and I’m going to be taking photos all the time.
“I’m going to be seeing people like Bolt and James. I’m going to ask to have my photo taken with them and ask for their autographs.”
Many pundits have compared Neymar to Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi due to their similar styles.
However, when quizzed on which players he most admires, the Brazilian opted not to mention the Argentine genius.
He said: “I really like Andres Iniesta — he’s a sensational player.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is really good as well and I enjoy watching Mesut Ozil of Germany a lot. He’s a great player and I’ve always been a big fan of his.”
