Juventus set to trump Liverpool to Ramirez signing
The Uruguayan has been linked with a move to the Reds but Brendan
Rodgers could be set to miss out, with the Turin club prepared to offer
fringe players to secure a deal

Juventus have turned their attentions towards making Bologna midfielder and Liverpool target Gaston Ramirez their next summer signing, Goal.com can reveal.
The Serie A champions have been linked with
the 21-year-old for some time, and are now set to make a move as they
look to add some more flair to their squad ahead of next season.
Ramirez
has frequently been linked with a move to Anfield this summer, with
Manchester City also reportedly a potential destination for the
in-demand star.
Bologna sporting director Roberto Zanzi recently
slapped a £15.75 million price tag on Ramirez, but Juventus are hopeful
of lowering their demands by including a number of fringe players in the
 deal.
Right-back Marco Motta is one of the leading candidates to leave the Turin giants for the Rossoblu this summer as head coach Stefano Pioli is also keen to bolster his defence.
Additionally,
Simone Padoin could be on his way to Bologna after he was recently
deemed surplus to requirements at Juve following the arrival of Kwadwo
Asamoah.
The midfielder joined Juventus from Atalanta in January, but has been unable to secure regular first-team action at the Bianconeri.
The
Old Lady could also face stiff competition from within Italy, as clubs
such as Inter and Napoli have also been linked with the Uruguayan.
