Barcelona's place at the very top of the football pyramid slipped this season, as the club uncharacteristically won neither the Spanish title or the Champions League.
Now it seems even their kit designers are having a bad year if this new away kit is anything to go by.
The home shirt is a thing of beauty, but the second strip is bright orange, fading into bright yellow.
It is difficult to imagine Messi, Iniesta and Co nipping about the pitch in those colours, but on the plus side, if they're playing an evening match they probably won't need to bother with the flood lights.
